The Old Delhi Bazaar, stroll around small and chaotic roads where all kinds of activities are found.
Shimla
A small but very lively city hidden in the middle of the mountain peaks.
The atmosphere is always accompanied my music and many locals often take visitors around on ponies.
The State Museum is worth visiting and you can have a taste of fine Hindu art.
Prospect Hill is a very pleasant place to have a picnic.
Manali
This well developed city is easy to access even if it's in the middle of the highest mountains of this area.
Old Manali, on the one side of the valley has kept its traditional atmosphere while Vashisht, on the other side has a wide range of restaurants and bars.
This is a very good place to organise from simple trekking excursions to more strenuous expeditions.
Dharamsala
This is the residence of the Dalai Lama and it's also the headquarters of the Tibetan government.
The city is divided into two distinct areas, the high part called McLeod Ganj and the lower part Dharamsala.
McLeod Ganj is full of Tibetan temples and monasteries.
Dharamsala is a very chaotic city full of shops, offices and houses and the Muesem of Kangra Art has a very nice collection Kangra miniatures.
Leh
The road to access the Ladakh region passes through Leh, it's also the second highest road in the world, 5328m.
Surely you must be ready for the most impressive landscape you probably have ever seen.
Here the first Buddhist settlements are found.
