Mandawa
The most impressive fort of Shekhawati, today it's a very beautiful hotel.
A number of very impressive Havelis.
Nawalgarh
Today a very lively town with a very interesting market place totally surrounded by kilometres of desert and bushes of khejri.
A very large number of well kept Havelis are to be found here, really worth visiting.
Samode
Situated in the dry rugged hills of the Aravalis.
The Samode Palace with its fabulously decorated wall paintings dominates the village.
The Samode Fort is just above The Palace.
Jaipur
Better know as the Pink City it is the capital of Rajasthan.
Hawa Mahal - The "Palace of the Winds" made from pink limestone, the façade contains 953 small casements.
The City Palace occupying one seventh of the city centre. Jantar Mantar, a very interesting observatory.
If you are planning to buy printed cotton, handicrafts,
carpets or pottery, then do it here, the bazaars are impressive and you will find the best quality.
Amber Palace, a spectacular building not far from the city.
